NO other state does PAC like O-H-I-O!  Second to none, so we’ve been told!

May 15-17, 2026, Ohio held their Chapter Convention, raising $7,7350.00 in donations to PAC. A PAC table was set up at convention with a display of pins, ribbons, and donation envelopes. PAC funds were raised in the following ways: Live PAC Auction – Shout out to our Auctioneer, Robert Smith!  Thank you for your dedication and hard work making our auction successful!

Robert Smith Pop For PAC- Dart game popping balloons for a chance to win a $100 Bill,

16 $25 gift cards (earned from Signature Credit Union), UPMA items: shirts, mugs, lanyards, umbrellas, bags of caramel corn and bags of Dum-Dum Suckers.   

Top prize $100 Bill winner- President Tony Leonardi  Money Tree / Lottery tickets winner- Terrisita Gray

During convention, PAC Awards were held. Recognition was given to the PAC Medallion winners.    Ohio has a strong PAC, with 20 or more Medallion winners. Top Contributor – Andrea Leyes, winner of the 2026 Challenge Coin.  All Medallion winners were put in a drawing for a $50 gift card – Deb Justice, winner.  Donation pins were handed out recognizing 28 members for their contributions to PAC.   

Included every Ohio Post Scripts publication, we have a PAC Contribution Card for members to donate (see attachment with LeeAndra’s article). This gives members that do not attend events to mail in contributions.  If you mail in a contribution and would like a pin, please reach out to me or the National Office. Thank you for your generosity and continued support allowing UPMA to maximize our lobbying efforts with Members of Congress.
