You are formally invited to attend Ohio 1 Career Conference  August 9, 2026, at the Kalahari resort inSandusky OH..

Regardless of which district you live or work in.  Everyone attending will learn something. It is great way to network and meet the district leadership as well as spotlight yourself. Many managers there are shopping for their next talented person for promotion and detail assignments. 

Please have your coworkers and employees that have shown interest in promotion into EAS attend. The $30.00 is investment in yourself as well as a free lunch. And members can gwt the fee back from UPMA.

The Ohio 2 Career Conference                                                7/1/2026

Attended by 200+ Postal Employees which included 138 registrants. The District Manager, Karen Garber, City of Cincinnati Postmaster Paige Zimmerman, Columbus Postmaster Tim Needham, and Dayton Postmaster Andrea Dallas, with the Managers of Post Office Operations, and multiple managers from Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus plants, along with Retail spoke about the different avenues to achieve success.

     UPMA was there to help facilitate attendees career ambitions. Our offering of KSA assistance and interview practice was well received. We signed up 12 EAS, and 40 associates. They joined us from all crafts. We look forward to helping them on the journey into the world of management. 

     We also had our National President with us to help new and existing members with direction in their Postal Careers. UPMA had rebate forms available to re-imburse any new or existing member for their conference registration fee. The attendees’ success will help us make their working lives better.
