Welcome Night Events planned by the Ohio Chapter continues to make our visit to Sandusky and the National Convention unforgettable! In addition to the Dinner Cruise, Cooking Demonstration, Cupcake Decorating, Cell Phone Photography listed in previous UPMA Gold, now they have added Trivia Night for free, plus a Fused Glass Jewelry Class with UPMA Member Jill Groves! All will take place on Saturday evening, and Jill will also do her class again on Monday afternoon.

If you were unable to get tickets to the Dinner-Cruise on Saturday night, the Ohio Chapter has several other “Welcome Night” events. Tickets are required to all except the FREE Trivia competition. CONVENTION AGENDA AND TRAINING SESSIONS:
As always until the moment it happens, convention agendas are a work in progress, and always flexible. However, the agenda and training sessions are posted on the web, www.unitedpma.org. Players may move around, but the overall schedule remains the same, and enables chapters to make group plans. Retired Ohio Postmaster Jill Groves will be teaching two fused glass jewelry classes at the National Convention. She has taught similar classes at Ohio State Conventions in the past with excellent feedback from attendees. Jill has been creating and teaching fused glass art for the past 12 years.
On Saturday, August 14, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, her fused glass jewelry class will be held in the Crown Palm Hut room .
Monday, August 16, from 3:15 to 4:45 pm, Jill's fused glass suncatcher class will be held in the Guava room.
Both classes cost $30 per person. Registrations will be made directly with Jill & should be made prior to the convention since seats are limited.
